（中央社澎湖縣18日電）今天是「世界博物館日」，澎湖縣文化局推出系列活動以「相遇博物館」為主題，局長洪棟霖說，博物館日是屬於大家的，歡迎大家一起來，透過博物館看世界、了解世界。
這項「博物館月」系列活動，今天由洪棟霖與行政院南部服務中心副執行長陳慧玲、交通部觀光署澎湖國家風景區管理處長洪志光等人共同啟動。洪棟霖表示，澎湖常民生活文化薈萃底縕深厚，今天適逢世界博物館日，博物館日是屬於大家的，歡迎男女老少大家一起來，透過博物館看世界、了解世界。
澎湖縣文化局表示，「博物館月」系列活動持續到6月2日，還包括澎湖軍事地景走讀、「我自己的博物館」講座、澎博沙龍體驗、菊島天文體驗營。
今天在澎湖生活博物館與孔廟園區登場的「異文化相遇-518博物館日」市集，結合地方美食、手作、創意及自有品牌，有「特色茶點糕品」、「特色咖啡飲品」、「社區手作商品」、「文創產業產品」、「新住民特色飲食」風格攤位80個，讓大小民眾一起體驗留下深刻印象。
國際博物館協會(ICOM)自1977年起，將每年5月18日訂為「世界博物館日」，喚起民眾對博物館在社會中扮演重要角色認識。澎湖縣文化局今年度博物館月以「相遇博物館」為主題，也呼應2024年518國際博物館日主題-「博物館教育Museums for Education and Research」。（編輯：孫承武）1130518
