台中市台灣大道與朝至善路口，今天（16日）深夜，一輛黑色休旅車不明原因衝撞紐澤西護欄，導致車頭凹陷毀損，車內男駕駛一度受困，警消獲報到場，將人從車內拖出後，已沒了呼吸心跳，將人送醫搶救，尚未脫險，詳細事故原因，仍待釐清。
這起車禍，發生在今天（16日）深夜11時許，30歲的男駕駛開車行經台中市台灣大道與朝至善路口時，不明原因自撞紐澤西護欄，造成車頭扭曲變形，人受困車內。
警消獲報到場，用破壞工具將車窗敲碎，再打開凹陷變形的車門，把駕駛從車內救出，當下駕駛已無呼吸心跳，救護人員立即施作心肺復甦術，待救護車到場，立即送醫搶救。
據目擊者表示，該車當時車速約70至80左右，沒有煞車，就直接撞上紐澤西護欄。肇事車輛，車頭凹陷，安全氣囊全部彈開，擋風玻璃碎裂，零件四散，目前人在醫院搶救，尚未脫險，詳細事故原因，仍待釐清。
