國道3號北向183.7公里處，台中龍井路段，昨天（14日）晚上9時20分，傳出轎車跟大貨車追撞事故，造成外車道占用；現場雖無回堵，但一度造成大貨車駕駛受困，撞擊導致車上零件飛散，連帶波及行經該處的4輛車，初步了解，共3人送醫，詳細事故原因，仍待釐清。
