高雄市動保處今天接受中央社記者訪問表示，高雄市動物保護及防疫補助辦法修正案，昨天經議會臨時會審議通過。飼主年滿18歲且為高雄市民，犬貓有植入晶片及打狂犬病疫苗，送醫院結紮後，可持結紮申請單向動保處申請補助。

動保處表示，高雄市動物保護及防疫補助辦法修正後，將雄性犬貓節育補助每隻從新台幣500元提高至800元，雌性則從1000元提高至1500元。

曾在會期中爭取提高犬貓絕育補助的無黨籍高雄市議員黃捷今天發布新聞稿表示，肯定動保處從善如流，將逐步完善飼主責任，落實犬貓管理並提高寵物絕育率，讓高雄成為全台最友善動物的進步城市。

黃捷也在臉書（Facebook）發布一張與貓咪合照的照片，並表示「我在上會期提的要求提高犬貓絕育補助一案，爭取成功了！」此案可鼓勵犬貓節育以減少非必要的繁殖，與降低疾病發生。

黃捷臉書貼文一出，不少人也紛紛在留言區曬出自家犬貓互動照片，並感謝黃捷協助爭取此一福利，也對高雄市動物福利政策給予肯定。（編輯：謝雅竹）1120223
